Look for Saturn while it’s close

If you’re interested in how to see the planets in the night sky, you might want to know when the best time to find them will be.

This month is a great time to look up and see Saturn because of the opposition that occurred on Aug. 14.

During the opposition, the Earth, sun and planet, in this case Saturn, are in a line.

It is important that they are in alignment because that is when Saturn is closest to Earth and when it appears largest in the sky.
