TOLEDO, Ohio — Progress has been made in constructing the hyperloop that would connect multiple major Midwest cities like Toledo.
Louis Lane is an engineer at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, and he is trying to convey to local residents that this future technology isn’t just a fantasy.
“We have actually had our first actual passenger. Since 2019, we’ve been recognized by the USDOT, and also the feasibility study was competed as well,” said Lane. “All of these three things really positions the hyperloop as a feasible technology.”
