Toledo Animal Rescue’s pet food pantry helping keep families together without fear of food costs

An area non-profit is helping pet owners by providing food for their pets.

Steve Kiessling, director of Toledo Animal Rescue, said they’ve provided pet food for nearly 70 families totaling over 1000 pounds of cat and dog food so far this year.

With inflation and the cost of owning pets, the organization launched this pantry in hopes that it would keep pet owners from having to give up their furry friends.
