What do miniature ferries, macaroni and cheese in the shower and beloved actor Pedro Pascal have in common? They were all part of April Fools’ Day jokes from local businesses, organizations and more.

April 1 is an annual playground of goofy tricks and light-hearted hoaxes that can make a person second-guess if they should be taking what they see at face value or if they’re just another an April Fool.

The day has a history of legendary pranks. Two years ago, “Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan deceived the internet into thinking he was saying goodbye to the signature gap in his teeth.
