April 8 Solar Eclipse: Where to Watch in Ohio

With the total solar eclipse on April 8 fast approaching, Ohio is making preparations ahead of the anticipated surge in tourism. Communities across the state are hosting various events and activities to commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. From Akron to Sandusky, and from Toledo to Westerville, excitement continues to build up.

The Akron Zoo, Akron, will be hosting an event called “Total Eclipse of the Zoo” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Here, visitors can choose from many activities to enjoy, such as crafts, education stations, and even a NASA broadcast. The main library will also be hosting outdoor watch parties and indoor NASA live streams between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
