Watch parties pop up for 2023 World Cup as Americans seek third consecutive title

The U.S. Women’s Nation Team prepares to take the international stage as the 2023 Women’s World Cup begins on July 20.

The ninth FIFA Women’s World Cup is being co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand and runs through Aug. 20 with 32 nations competing.

Matches begin Thursday, 3 a.m. ET, with New Zealand vs. Norway, but the heavily-favored-to-win USWNT takes the World Cup stage at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 21, in their first match against Vietnam.
